I recently stumbled upon a picture of my now husband (Chris) and me at just 23 years old. It brought back a flood of memories—laughing, traveling, working, spending, and living life without a care in the world. Back then, life was all about the next adventure, the next paycheck, and enjoying every fleeting moment. It was a beautiful, carefree time that felt like it was just yesterday.
But now, as we approach 60, I see life through such a different lens. Those carefree days were a chapter—an important one—but just a chapter nonetheless. Today, I understand how precious and fleeting time is. The greatest joys in life aren’t about money, material things, or even the big adventures. They’re about the moments that truly matter: time spent with loved ones, the laughter of family gatherings, the quiet conversations with friends, and the deep connections with those who mean the most.
I’ve come to realize that what matters most is being present. It’s helping the people you care about, and cherishing the time you have with your parents, siblings, and friends. It’s about being intentional with how you spend your days and understanding that life is short, unpredictable, and precious beyond words.
Another thing I’ve learned is the importance of taking care of the one body you’ve been given. Your health isn’t something you can keep putting off until “tomorrow” because, one day, tomorrow won’t come. Eating well, staying active, and nurturing your physical and mental health are not just tasks—they’re gifts you give yourself so you can live fully and freely.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve also become more mindful of the choices I make. From what I eat to how I move, from who I surround myself with to learning the power of saying “no”—it all matters. These small, daily decisions shape the life we live and the legacy we leave behind.
This shift in perspective is why I’m so passionate about helping other women, especially those over 50, to understand that life is too short to keep putting themselves last. For years, I’ve watched women sacrifice their health, their happiness, and their dreams for everyone else. But here’s the truth: You deserve to live your best life—a life filled with freedom, energy, mobility, and joy. And that life begins when you start prioritizing yourself.
Don’t wait for “one day.”
Start today. Start now. Make the decision to take care of your body, your mind, and your soul. Live intentionally. Embrace the time you have with the people you love. And most importantly, believe that you are worth it.
If this resonates with you and you’re ready to take that next step, I’m here to help. You’re not alone in this journey, and together, we can create a life you love. Let’s connect and talk about how you can live the healthiest, happiest life possible—starting right now.
Life is short, but it can be beautiful beyond measure when you make yourself a priority. Let’s start living it to the fullest.
